Brady Corporation Awards Harley-Davidson® Sportster®

Harley SportsterNEW YORK, NEW YORK-(February 15, 2006)- Brady Corporation awarded a 2005 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® and a Harley-Davidson leather jacket to Patrick Coyne, the winner of the Brady Sportster Promotion. Coyne accepted his prize at Brooklyn Harley-Davidson in Brooklyn, New York, on January 11, 2006.

"I didn't believe that I won at all," said Coyne, who is Director of Engineering for Madison Square Garden. "I had to go to the Brady website to confirm that it was real."

Brady Corporation, a global leader in safety, identification, and labeling solutions, began the Sportster Promotion at the BuildingsNY 2005 trade show, held in New York City on June 21 and 22, 2005. The event was part of their BradyGloT photoluminescent product launch. Entries for the contest were available at the Brady booth and on the company's website. Coyne was selected as the winner by random drawing.

"I am still in shock at winning this wonderful prize," said Coyne. "We have had some mild days in New York since I picked up the Sportster, and I was able to get a few rides in already. I was really impressed that Brady went out of their way to choose such a nice bike. It came complete with all the options and I'm really enjoying it."

BradyGlo photoluminescent products were developed to exceed the requirements of NYC Local Law 26 and to meet the installation and durability needs of building owners, managers, and maintenance professionals. NYC Local Law 26 was passed after the events of September 11, 2001, to increase tenant safety in high-rise buildings. The law requires that all commercial Class E buildings more than 75 feet tall install photoluminescent exit path markings by July 1, 2006.
